The Golden Gate Bridge has one of the highest suicide rates in the world, and has the highest rate in the United States. With a 4 foot railing virtually anyone can attempt to take their own life, and the 4 second drop doesn’t allow any time to rethink your decision. Please know there are people who are willing to listen and help you, and that you are not alone. Use these hotlines. It does and will get better.
